Our research work is about geometric and numerical models for geometric product specification. This work relies on the Skin model concept and the GeoSpelling language, both developed in our laboratory, and, thus, falls within the research topics of ISO Technical Committee TC 213. The objective of this work is to develop both the theoretical foundation of geometric product specification and an operationalization of the Skin model and GeoSpelling for the construction of generic models which include geometric defects throughout a product's life cycle.
